Through the Foundation's Artists in Residence program, Apogee engages world class composers, choreographers, authors, instructors, directors, designers and other elite professionals involved in the performing arts to develop original materials for Apogee World Stage productions and to show that, indeed, art works.
During the 2005/2006 performance season, the Foundation commissioned its inaugural Artist in Residence, Anton Brejestovski, to compose a full length, completely original and groundbreaking ballet КОРОЛЕВА ФЕЙ (THE FAERIE QUEEN) based on a libretto jointly developed by Mr. Brejestovski and Apogee President Kenneth Schneider. Excerpts from the libretto can be seen and from the music can be heard on the page dedicated to this project.

In collaboration with the Foundation's media & technology partner, Aurience Limited, The Faerie Queen is now also being adapted for the screen as a full length feature film, likewise with a full length film score by Mr. Brejestovski.
