Artists in Residence

In 2005, Apogee began its formal program of Artists in Residence.

Through this program, Apogee engages world class composers, choreographers, authors, instructors, directors, designers and other elite professionals involved in the performing arts to develop original materials for Foundation programs.

The first Apogee Resident Artist was the Russian composer Anton Brejestovski, who collaborated with the Foundation throughout the 2005/2006 season developing a full length, original ballet score to be performed by Apogee Beneficiaries and partner institutions in public concerts around the world.
