Zhang Jin serves as Chairman of the Piano Department at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China, and is widely regarded as one of the leading piano instructors in all of Asia.
His students have included two of the first three Apogee award laureates selected in China (Huang Nansong and Wang Chun), as well as a host of other extremely gifted and superbly trained musicians who are regularly named as laureates of the world's leading piano competitions,.
In recognition of his life achievements, Professor Zhang became Apogee's first Achievement Award laureate named in China.
